We are pleased to announce that we have concluded a major contract for the supply of a Capstone C65 Microturbine, together with an advanced fuel management and control system. The microturbine will supply electricity and heat, in the form of flue gas, to a machine at a paper plant. 

This installation is a major achievement for us and serves as a testament to our ability to provide cutting-edge energy solutions to our customers. Delivery and commissioning are planned for the end of August 2024.

• Generation of electricity for internal operations
• 100% recovery of flue gas heat for use in the drying process
• Clean, dry, oil-free flue gas with full control over temperature️

The Capstone microturbine is fueled by LPG, with the electricity and heat it produces to be used for local consumption. By using 100% of the recovered flue gas in the papermaking process, overall efficiency (i.e. recovery of energy from the primary fuel) is also significantly increased.

• Flue gas that is free of oil and impurities will improve drying times and not have a negative effect on the paper production process
• The installed technology will make a positive contribution to the paper plant’s sustainability by reducing CO2 emissions
• The addition of a flue gas/water exchanger will enable seasonal production of hot water
